a voice note - what is god?

Today's blog is a bit different in the way I've done it, and the start of a series I think because I quite enjoyed the simplicity of getting y thoughts out there!

I want to call it a VLOG because it's a blog that has been taken directly from a voice note/text to speech to myself, but obviously the term VLOG has already been taken so I'm going to have to think of something else to call it! Anyway, literally nothing has been changed in this little text to speech

riff I went on. Sometimes I can't just write down and fully express what I'm thinking or feeling in a structured blog type way, so I thought why bother? I'm literally gong to ramble and riff to myself and then copy and paste directly into the blog!

And oooph what a hefty subject to start off with, but let's go!

"I just want to say I am not here to define what God means to other people or minimise the sanctity of God for anyone. I'm not here to change what God means to others after thousands and thousands and thousands of years, but I am going to define what God means for me because God, in the traditional or westernised sense of a man in the sky, is not something I can relate to. And I'm actually going to give God an acronym, which is Generator Of Divine. That means for me pure, universal energy that started way before the big bang, way before the universe as we know it today.

An original photo of the Mediterranean Sea in Cyprus, near the Blue Lagoon, used to depict the beauty in the power of the Universe.

God for me or the Generator Of Divine is not, like I said, a man in the sky. It is not an ethereal spirit, or some ghost-like figure. It is universal energy at its purest and most powerful form. Therefore, we are also God if we channel that universal energy, if we let it within us instead of fighting it. We are stardust. We are part of the universe, but the universe, or God, this Generator Of Divine, has energies and powers far beyond our 3D mind and experience. Far beyond anything we could possibly even contemplate, because if we did, it may freak us out, or any of us. However, we have the ability to learn about that energy and to tune in and tap into that energy.

People who get into manifestation, including myself at the beginning, saw manifestation as this external, outside-of-our-own-minds-and-bodies thing that we put the power to manifest. That, for me now, is not the case.

Our ancient ancestors got this right because they didn't have the technology and the distractions that we do today. There's evidence all around the world of how they tried to tap into that energy. They recognised that they were not separate and that there is something to be learnt from the energy of the universe. Yes, they believed in their gods; they picturised, they animated their gods in caves, on walls, in temples, but they still tried to understand of the energy of the universe and use it to their advantage.

Another point for me, and although this is moving away slightly from my concept of God, Generator Of the Divine, I will come back to that. Another important aspect for me is that a part of manifestation now has to include healing our beliefs, healing our traumas, healing our stories, the limiting stories that we are telling ourselves because we have built that up over generations, generations, generations, hundreds of years, thousands of years even.

I think manifestation, in its original form, when there wasn't so much trauma or not the trauma like we have today (yes there was death and danger etc), would have been focused on tapping into and channelling the energy through ourselves.

continued: A voice note - what is god?

So, to come back to my perception of God, Generator Of Divine, is that we are all God and we have the ability to generate, aka manifest, divine. We have the ability to generate and tap into the powerful universal energy, vibration, frequency, whatever you want to call it. That is when we become our most powerful manifestors. That is when we are able to effortlessly attract things because we are not giving our power outside of us. We are not giving our power and ability to something external. We are not relying on something external to us in order to bring our manifestations and our desires into fruition.

However, we are co-creating because God is us. We are God. Universe is us. We are Universe. The two are not separate. When we learn to co-create through our human divine form and our energetic divine form, that is when we become God, Generators Of Divine."

So there we go. My 1st text-to-speech blog: A Voice Note - What Is God?

I think God is absolutely something to be respected, however you choose to believe and celebrate. But as a side note (as I'm writing this and more is coming to me, typical!) I also think that the energy of the universe and the powers people realised they had thousands and thousands of years ago, ancient healers, medicine men, Shaman's, people who studied the skies, tuned into the earth, nature, the universe, I think that it is possible that people got scared, or warry. For example, in today's world, if the Government actually told the people on our Earth that yes, Alien's as depicted in movies, do in fact exist, 99% of the population WOULD FREAK THE FUCK OUT! We like to predict things, understand things, have easy to understand explanations as it's safe and that's what humans like. We like safe. So what if, and this is just a thought to put to you, maybe our ancient ancient ancestors needed something, like an 'External God' up in the Heavens, to help them explain and understand their own power and the direct affect and impact they could have on the universe. Because that's far safer and easier to wrap our heads around than actually admitting and understanding our own power, isn't it?

What are your thoughts?
